What counts as an officially licensed Naruto ring?

A licensed ring means the rights holder approved the design, the materials, and the territory it sells in. Our Naruto pieces are cleared for the United States including Puerto Rico and Guam, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. A bootleg has none of that behind it. It also usually has none of the metallurgy behind it, which is the part that ends up on your finger for years.

Hidden Leaf Village Headband Ring
The one people reach for first. It is a headband wrapped into a band, with the Hidden Leaf emblem cut deep into a two tone face. Rhodium plated over stainless, then sealed with a protective coating. It comes in Black and in Abyss, a darker oil finish. At $41.99 it is the most recognizable Naruto ring we make, and the one that reads correctly from across a room. Jiraiya Headband Ring
Same headband silhouette, different kanji. This one carries 油, read as abura, meaning oil. It is the mark Jiraiya wore for Mount Myoboku and the toads he summoned. Chrome finish, $41.99. Minato's Kunai Ring
The three pronged kunai etched around a chrome band. At $34.99 it is the least expensive of the four and the flattest against the finger, which makes it the easiest to wear every day. Tobirama Senju Mask Ring

The price gap is not a quality gap. It tracks the amount of tooling in the face of the ring. A flat etched band costs less to produce than a sculpted mask. Both use the same 316L body and the same protective coating.
Why is 316L stainless steel the right metal for a Naruto ring?
All four rings use 316L stainless steel, plated in rhodium or 18KT gold depending on the colorway, then finished with a protective coating. The spec is listed on every product page. 316L is the surgical grade alloy, which is why it is described as hypoallergenic and water, heat, and sweat resistant. Here is the practical version. A ring lives on the part of your body that gets washed most, knocked most, and sweated on most. Cheap plated brass surrenders to all three, and the tell is the green ring left on your finger. 316L does not do that. It also does not need to be taken off at the gym, in the shower, or in the ocean.
The one real tradeoff is that stainless steel is hard to resize. That is not a MISTERVERSE limitation, it is a property of the alloy, and we covered it honestly in can you resize stainless steel jewelry. Get the size right the first time and it is a non issue.
How do you find your Naruto ring size?

Three ways to land on the right number. Measure a ring you already own and wear on that finger, using the inside diameter. Wrap a strip of paper around the finger, mark it, and measure the length in millimeters. Or go into any jeweler and ask to be sized, which takes about a minute and costs nothing.
Two notes that catch people out. Fingers swell in heat and late in the day, so measure in the afternoon rather than first thing. And a wide band sits tighter than a thin one at the same nominal size, so if you are between sizes on the Tobirama or Hidden Leaf rings, take the larger.
Is there an Akatsuki ring?

We are saying it plainly because a lot of what comes back on that search is unlicensed. The red cloud stands for the rain of blood that fell over Amegakure during its wars, read by the founding members as a symbol of justice. How do you wear a Naruto ring without it reading as a costume?

Pick one metal and stay in it. Chrome ring with chrome chain, gold with gold. Mixing the two is the fastest way to make a considered outfit look accidental. Wear the ring on your dominant hand if you want it seen, on the other if you want it quiet.

Yes. All four carry the Naruto license credit to Masashi Kishimoto and VIZ Media, printed on each product page. They are cleared for sale in the United States including Puerto Rico and Guam, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
Will a Naruto ring turn my finger green?
No. Every ring is 316L stainless steel, plated and then sealed with a protective coating, and listed as hypoallergenic. Green skin comes from copper alloys such as brass, which we do not use in these rings.
What sizes do Naruto rings come in?
US sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11, whole sizes only. Stock varies by size and by ring, and the Jiraiya Headband Ring is currently out in sizes 8 and 11. Check the size dropdown on the product page for live availability.
Can a Naruto ring be resized?
No. 316L stainless steel cannot be reliably cut and rejoined the way gold or silver can, so almost no jeweler will resize it. Measure carefully before ordering, and size up rather than down on the wider bands.
Can I shower or swim in a Naruto ring?
Yes. The rings are water, heat, and sweat resistant. Rinse and dry the ring after saltwater or chlorine, and a soft cloth is enough to bring the finish back.
